the next day, Zaid, Kak Manihah & Harith bawak kitorang jalan-jalan around Central London~ the lovely couple & their cute baby in the stroller ta'aruf session with the birds at Hyde Park ^__^ and as we fed them with some crackers, the swan bit - yes, BITE - my hand a couple of times until it turned red.. autumn breeze! ^__^ had always wanted to take a pic inside the unique phone stand since i was a kid :P London Tower Bridge Exhibition. too bad it was under maintanence or the picture would have been nicer.. it's the one that can open/split up if a huge ship wants to pass through London's Eye the one we had for two years at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa. when facing this side, behind us was the infamous Big Ben. to be continued...

Subhanallah walhamdulillah wallahuakbar! My beloved hubby & I got the chance to experience our 2nd honeymoon ^__^ 21st Nov - 4th Dec (Autumn-Winter) 2009, United Kingdom tempat persinggahan pertama~ rumah Zaid, Kak Manihah & Harith chumeyl~ we arrived late at night n caused Zaid some hassle to pick us up at Stansted Airport... we had a good rest that night. i especially love the air bed! i finally got a break from backpain since my pregnancy days started.. nak beli satu bawak balik tapi at last dah banyak sangat barang pulak.. after getting ourselves an Oyster Card the next morning and 'studying' the Tube Map, we went off to Oxford Street for some window shopping. it wasn't easy for us to find lunch for the first day. finally found a small arab stall and grabbed a slice of pizza + kebab + water and guess what! it costs us about £9! we immediately learnt not to convert the currency to RM anymore =P then we passed Green Park to visit Buckingham Palace, but to us natur

stress!!!

feel like yelling my lungs out right now mainly because of the stress, and partly because i really want to get rid of this sleepy-head feeling. last Friday i received a call from Engineering Academic Affairs telling me my Computer Security exam will be on the 24th (this Thursday). since friday was a holiday i had to wait until today to know my Decision Science exam time. So glad Maya was willing to help me get my exam letter from Economics general office BUT it was written on that letter Decision Science special exam - 24th December. i went to Academic Affairs to settle the clash, but guess what??? COMPUTER SECURITY EXAM IS ON THE 22ND!!!! i.e. tomorrow morning! uhh.. it was a good thing that i had started my revision, but it was still a horror to know that i have less than 24 hours to prepare myself for the paper. i just could not focus for many hours already! T__T just had a late supper with Abah, and he said "just do what you can do" but i still fear, is that enough? *now

sapu habuk...

permulaan sem yang sangat busy dan penat! -__-" mungkin lepas ni kena consider betul-betul kalau nak spend the whole school holiday - yes the WHOLE school holiday dgn melancong.. khamis ni ada special exam Computer Security.. Decision Science punya belum tau bila lagi, esok kena call Econs utk confirmkan.. mujahid punya exam pulak next week.. memang kena pulun study lah minggu ni.. harap2 dapat perform dgn baik utk special exam ni supaya pointer dapat naik.. ameen~ gambar di UK yang sekarang dah snow.. tapi kitorang sempat jakun dengan ice frost je.. - Durham at minus 2 degrees celcius - dah rindu kat Harith jugak.. baik je tuan rumah kecik ni masa kitorang serbu rumah dia.. hehe.. Fetal development in pregnancy week 17: fetus in fourth month Don't be too shocked but... the baby is EVEN bigger than it was last week, not to mention getting cuter, and smarter every day! The baby is now nearly 11.1cm long from crown to rump and weighs about 140g. Alhamdulillah the baby is healthy, moving about actively inside the safest sanctuary that ever existed on earth, but we still haven't known his gender yet~ so you just gotta wait if you're planning to buy him/her gifts and toys ^__^

Subhanallah walhamudilillah wallahuakbar! While I was drowning in the sea of life, making myself busy with the worldly test called final exam and taking every moment of my life for granted, my Creator and Sustainer 'poked' me with a simple test, to make me remember that none of us belong to this world forever. After a whole busy Sunday preparing for my final exams, my hubby returned from Perak with a little complaint of having a stomach ache. A couple of hours later, all of a sudden and without warning, he vomited blood - a lot of blood. I freaked out. We immediately went to the hospital. After hours of waiting and check-up, Mujahid was warded. Of course, terrified, all I wanted to do was to stay with him in the ward that night despite having a test the next morning. Subhanallah Allah sent us family and friends who really cares. Within 24 hours, at least a dozen of them came to visit. I was trying to make myself comfortable to accompany Mujahid at his bed for another few days,

last week of lectures for this sem

alhamdulillah walaupun kelam kabut next week start final exam things are going on much better than expected ^__^ except for the headache that doesn't seem to fully disappear since the '53 hours....' post. and yes, i did not add to the counting because it'll just make me miserable. anyways, skrg ni tinggal kena hantar Smart Aquarium System project report n assignment decision science jumaat ni. Dr. Anisah itu saaaangat baik!!! dari 3 soalan yg panjaaang tu dia wajibkan pilih 2 je bila ada students pegi mengadu kat diat his week sgt havoc.. other than that, i HAVE to study for my final exams -__-" especially utk 3 paper yg berderet itu... so, enough of that. below is the outcome of my new toy this semester. did this with 5 other girls :) Smart Aquarium System. features: automatic feeder & water temperature display and the one below with the laundry hanger is not my toy. it belonged to Najmi and her team, but they're doing it for another lab class. the fan is

in mid july, one of my bro had his wedding reception, just a small one. we washed the dishes at a nearby tap near my dad's garden, and guess what grows there now??? TOMATO trees! there are three of them, now about two feet tall. two of them are already bearing fruit ^__^

nak tulis jugak!

walaupun tau blog ni ada beberapa lecturer ECE yg visit, nak tulis jugak! CIE Lab I weighs 1 credit hour - and it consists of two subjects: Data Structure & Multimedia hence DS Lab only weighs 0.5 credit hour. yet.. the workload is beyond any 3 credit hour subject!!! esok kena submit DS Lab so-called mini project which includes: Binary Search Tree, AVL Tree, Heapify, insert & delete node into a tree, perform sort and implement hashing - and those listed does not include all the 'requirements' demanded by the lecturer. and guess how much time we got? 1 week, to be submitted with a multimedia mini-project (yang buat orang tak tidur dan rupa2nya tak payah submit on that day). and of course there are tonnes of other projects and assignments and quizzes!! and trust me, i did not procrastinate this time! so much for a 0.5 ch subject. ugh!! aktiviti menghilangkan bosan semasa group presentation software engineering projects

What Do Teachers Make?

What Do Teachers Make? A Profound Answer! The dinner guests were sitting around the table discussing life. One man, a CEO, decided to explain the problem with education. He argued, "What's a kid going to learn from someone who decided his best option in life was to become a teacher?" To stress his point he said to another guest; "You're a teacher, Bonnie. Be honest. What do you make?" Bonnie, who had a reputation for honesty and frankness replied, "You want to know what I make? (She paused for a second, then began...) "Well, I make kids work harder than they ever thought they could. I make a C+ student feel like the Congressional Medal of Honor winner. I make kids sit through 40 minutes of class time when their parents can't make them sit for 5 without an I Pod, Game Cube or movie rental. You want to know what I make? (She paused again and looked at each and every person at the table) I make kids wonder. I make them question. I make them apol

friday - decision science midterm - multimedia lab project submission saturday - software engineering project presentation monday - ?? tuesday - data structure lab project submission - ece lab project presentation wednesday - ce big assignment submission - ce big quiz - vlsi quiz of course, with the above-mentioned activities, i could not fly to Beirut even if i really really want to =( even if i could postpone everything to a later date, i wouldn't choose to do that especially when i cannot predict migraine attacks

this is indeed really true!!

53 hours, and hoping NOT to add to the counting

Image
53 hours and right now i'm taking caffeine, hoping it'll give me few good hours for me to finish my mini project for software engineering which is to be submitted tomorrow! luckily this time panadol helped prevent the pain from increasing for a couple of hours, but i dare not take more than 2 tablets. last night i did ' bekam ' when i complaint to my mother-in-law about feeling numb at the left side of my face, good that the numbness disappear immediately as blood was pumped towards the my temple. but the headache remains.. sometimes i just wonder when will this end, or reduce- time and pain-wise, or at least when can be as strong as my hubby when he gets his asthma attack. i can only cry when i can't handle it anymore. several times these few days. i didn't go for my midterm exam for 0.5 credit hour TaeKwon-Do skill class on Friday. it's my only chance of proving to the trainer that i, who practiced TaeKwon-Do since i was 11, don't deserve a B- or worse

havoc week --> less havoc week

last sunday, i forced myself to stay at home to study for this havoc week, only to find that all my classmates were enjoying attending open houses or resting at home when i give them a call to ask about some things i was stuck at. i ended up playing computer games... 12th oct - VLSI design quiz - ECE lab test (30% of that 1 credit hour lab!) 13th oct - Data Structure lab was cancelled :) yeay! 14th oct - Communication Engineering assignment submission 15th oct - Computer Security assignment submission - midterm for my TKD skills (i'll only be doing the theory part) 16th oct - quiz for Multimedia lab? Macromedia Flash - midterm for Decision Science postponed to next week! (it's supposed to be on the 17th but of course i'm attending Auzan's & Kak Nazihah's wedding :) nsyaAllah) yesterday morning, i woke up with a mild migraine on the left side of my head. alhamdulillah it did not increase (nor decrease..) up until now.. after the tough lab test yesterday, baby &am

12 weeks

it's 12 weeks already!! ^__^ subhanallah walhamdulillah wallahuakbar! yesterday i went for my 2nd antenatal check-up, and the ultrascan was really fun! although i've read quite a lot about pregnancy and look at the pictures of the baby in the tummy in various websites, it's totally a different excitement when i saw my own baby moving about inside my tummy. it's like--- MAGIC! first the kid was facing downwards, then he turned, facing up and we saw the heartbeat going dup dup dup.. a few seconds later he turned to the side and showed us his tiny little arms and fingers. then he faced down again and... we coudln't get a clear scan picture because he doesn't want to turn again.. actually, we still don't know if he's a HE.. but let's pray for the best! i can't help smiling everytime i remember about the incident ^__^ it made me remember that it's really a miracle.. and it's really a great blessing from Allah. smiles ^__^ on the other hand, i

happy birthday to me~ ^__^

happy birthday to me i was born in the sea with the seahorse and the sea anemone and the clownfish is me~~ although it is actually EVERY DAY that we grow older, to me, birthdays are always a great reminder. i receive messages with good and nice wishes, and best of all reminders about my amal and death on this day. i also take the opportunity to spend some cents to send my beloved ones messages of gratitude, thankfulness and apologies. to me, it's not just another day, but a day to be 'USED' wisely and reflect upon what i have done for the past years i've been on this earth. some may not agree, but please don't bother lecturing me at the comments section :P my first birthday with my significant other ^__^ activity-wise, today is just another day. i actually plan to spend today studying for my Data Structure Lab tomorrow and also complete 3 assignments which i have been delaying since last week -__-" NOT a good thing but believe me, each time i take a glance - no

morning or all-day sickness? or gastric attack?

Image
8th week: started having some so-not-nice morning(actually ALL DAY!)-sickness. especially when i'm hungry, i would get dizzy & feel like vomitting. yes, only the feeling. but that is still uncomfortable.. fasting gets very challenging but i still forced myself to fast as long as i can handle it. coz i don't want to qadha' puasa banyak sangat! 9th week: once i really vommited after fajr prayers bcoz something was smelling funny terrible!. i asked my hubby what smell was it and he says it's the plant fertilizer - and you know what they are made of ! it was a good thing that we planned to go to the beach that morning ^__^ to my tiny disappointment, by tiny i meant: just a little disappointed, the Senai-Desaru highway is still not completed yet so we end up going to Tanjung Langsat which has no sand. only a small jetty and port nearby, thus making the sea water not so beautiful. but the smell of the sea is way much better than plant fertilizers! 10th week: baby is now

third month

fetus in third month Fetal development in pregnancy week 9: Congratulations! Your amazing growing baby has been accepted into to the fetus-club, a very exclusive and exiting new stage in their prenatal development. Basically, this means the little sweet pea has graduated from swimming embryo creature to a recognizable human being! Your baby weighs under 10g - a fraction of an ounce - but is poised for rapid growth. All the body parts are now present, including arms, legs, eyes, genitals and other organs, though they're not yet fully formed. ^_^ praying and praying to Allah that the baby will develop perfectly, ameen..

family planning?

some friends asked me, "did you dump your family planning?" or "what happened to your family planning?" my simple answer is: Good planners have Plan B. or even C and D and E and so on! When circumstances change, your plans change. it really took me a lot of time and courage to decide at first~ what an AGILE family! **those taking software engineering classes would definitely understand this! ^__^ **

1 - 7 weeks

whoa.. i read my previous posts and looked back at what i've done since the beginning of this semester.. and guess what??? 1st week of pregancy: - i was called to help out with the props for COVER GIRL theatre performance. lifted up chairs, tables, heavy props, etc! 2nd week: - had a not-very-active week, but trained for the upcoming Engineering Sports Carnival a couple of times. 3rd week: - i played table tennis for the Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) department and got 3rd place! 4th week: - did pregnancy test and the result was negative. so i eagerly participated in the "world's most dreadful camp", PERKASA 2009. walked and hiked for at least 15 kilometres in 3 days, cut bamboo poles using a blunt parang to prepare for dinner and set up bonfire for the night! i got exhausted throughout the following week and only attended few classes. 5th week: - super-duper exhausted 6th week: - found out that i was actually pregnant! started taking folic acid for my

^__^ I haven't blogged a real post for quite sometime and I realize that not many people come to visit this blog anymore. it's really okay though :) Anyways,,, uhh.. i don't know where to start.. Ah, firstly I really want to apologize to most of my usrah-mates for not breaking this joyful news to you guys first.. I actually planned to make it public after 'Eid, but my hubby was just more than excited so he kept asking me "dah boleh announce ke belum???", just like I would ask on some very-tiring days "berapa minit lagi buka puasa???".. LOL~ This is really a very new experience to me. Right now, I still can't imagine being a mom :P or even moving around with a big tummy :P hehehe~ Not as mentioned on the baby ticker, I don't experience any morning sickness, alhamdulillah! However there are some awful discomforts (which i've suffered from since my teen-ages) - gastrics and migraines. My tummy started to feel extremely bloated and painful ar

This is an honour and responsibility given and women are accountable for their part in shaping and molding the next generation. In realising the importance of women's role in our society from the beginning of time, Sekolah Islam Adni, is organizing ALL-Women theatre performance touching the life experiences of women in different countries that can be shared and learnt together. round-table discussion?

A lady from the US embassy gave me a call, asking if I can get a dozen of Adni upper-secondary students and also some Adni Alumni to sit down and have a round-table discussion about Obama’s speech this Saturday in Moscow. I can’t help but think of the big agenda behind these activities. No doubt what they’ll get from the discussion will be compiled and reported to the US intelligence. And that idea brings me to the photography workshop held last month. I had submitted a database of photographers, complete with their full names, phone number, e-mail address, field of study/expertise, and so on. Oh is it really okay… Hmm… I don’t think I will personally attend the upcoming discussion IF it is to be done. For one thing, I’m not that kind of person who has interest in politics. And second, my face had always and will always appear in front of the US embassy for peace demonstrations.
