accident lagi

kali ni, orang yang langgar saya. Volkswagen ok. alhamdulillah owner nya peramah (macam saya hahahaha). sorry punya sorry, dia bagi business card dia untuk contact dia bila nak polish / paint / etc. it was just a big scratch, i won't make a big deal out of it. plus, i immediately reflected upon my previous encounter with a similar accident. that guy was nice and humble, so just forgive lah. not that i've been keeping my car shiny and scratchless pun selama ni..

I AM A STUDENT, WIFE, MOTHER AND DA`IE

Image
Published in Fikrah Adni 2010 (Adni Year Book) "Our responsibilities exceed the time that we have. So spend our time wisely..." Al-Syahid Imam Hasan Al-Banna 2010 might just be another year to many people, but to me it was a year that tested everything in me – my capability, strength, patience and so much more. Juggling responsibilities of a wife, a daughter, an engineering student and a da’ie had occupied every day of life since I got married in October 2008. I attended lectures and lab sessions during the day and sat down in usrahs and Islamic lectures during the night. Weekends are occupied with programs and organizational meetings. Time between those activities are spent with family, and helping my husband with his part-time business. Alhamdulillah, on 12th April 2010, Allah has blessed me and my husband with an adorable son. Another super huge responsibility now hangs upon my shoulders – to ensure the well-being of the baby and to provide everything he needs emotio...

a big, huge test

Image
23rd July 2011 I was down and depressed, exhausted and wondering --- How in the world could I possibly be a good mother??? I was not talking about being a GREAT mom, but simply a GOOD mom. And Allah had answered my question immediately. Ikram is now over 1 year and 3 months old, and I still have the feeling of not being able to adjust my whole life to become a mother to a child. To give the fullest and not to expect getting something in return is really difficult. Every day I wonder if I am giving my child all the attention he needs, or am I pampering him and spoiling him too much? I wonder if I should do all the daily chores with him - feeding, bathing, etc - or is it okay to let the maid help out with that from time to time? After a week of high fever (not including fever during the previous week and the week before) and what sounds like a very bad cough, Mujahid and I decided to bring Ikram to the hospital. It was midnight. We went to get a referral from a clinic nearby ou...

happy birthday to me~ ^__^

Image
happy birthday to me i was born in the sea with the seahorse and the sea anemone and the clownfish is me~~ although it is actually EVERY DAY that we grow older, to me, birthdays are always a great reminder. i receive messages with good and nice wishes, and best of all reminders about my amal and death on this day. i also take the opportunity to spend some cents to send my beloved ones messages of gratitude, thankfulness and apologies. to me, it's not just another day, but a day to be 'USED' wisely and reflect upon what i have done for the past years i've been on this earth. some may not agree, but please don't bother lecturing me at the comments section :P my first birthday with my significant other ^__^ activity-wise, today is just another day. i actually plan to spend today studying for my Data Structure Lab tomorrow and also complete 3 assignments which i have been delaying since last week -__-" NOT a good thing but believe me, each time i take a glance - no...

Tag : Life's Journey

Image
i got this tag from facebook. but i'll also post here.. The rules are: 1. Choose at least five pictures which taken when you were a little boy/girl until now. 2. Describe the pictures. 3. Please tag at least five of your friends. So.. here i go.. i guess this pic was taken when i was in Junior 2, IIC, that is in 1995. i'm d girl with the pink - yes, PINK - beside the one with blue, that is Atiyah. next to me was Aneesah, then Anas, Ahmad n Atiqah. we were the top-3 students in 2 classes. Anas, Atiyah and I in Junior 2 while Aneesah, Ahmad and Atiqah in Junior 1. this is the next 'youngest' pic i have in collection. i won't go to the mess of searching other pics in photo albums and scanning them. we were the most-senior prefects in 2003, but this pic was taken in 2004 when we 'stepped down' from being school prefects. i'm the one at the utmost right, at the back line of course. this pic reminds me of my school days ^__^ i should say, while many people lon...

nela loves ummi & abah!

"Once upon a time, you were all so very small, so very fragile and so in need of attention. Once upon a time, business was just growing, expansion wasn't really happening and life was just moving. At this point of time, success breeds success and children have grown considerably bigger, more capable of managing their own lives with their own resources. Worry less about Umi or Abah not being around to care for you, worry more that you wouldn't be around to care for Umi and Abah now and in the later years. For it should not be of how much they love us but of how much we love them." i think, taking a step into a whole new life is not walking on a new path, but it's more of walking on a wider road instead. more things to think of, more challenges and tests by Allah. but it's still the same road that we walk on since we were born - whether we want to crawl, walk or run, never ever forget to do one thing: LOVE AND CARE for our parents. allhumma ighfirlana zunubana ...

i need a break!

The Part of You That No One Sees You are unique, witty, and even a little snobby. You're quite proud of who you are, and nothing is going to change that. You've paved your own way in life, and you've ended up where you want to be. Underneath it all, you feel very isolated from the rest of the world. It's hard to find people to relate to you on every level. The mundane interests of your friends and family often bore or depress you. What's the Part of You That No One Sees? haha.. rasa macam 1 or 2 je yg betul..

fuh! fuh! (blowing away the dust~)

Image
actually i don't know if i can update this blog with stories about events that passed since few days ago.. right now i'm feeling very tired although i've slept for urmm about 12 hours with 'breaks'.. but oh seriously i think my energy level is depleting T__T anyway, i joined the Qurban at Adni on Saturday. 3 cows were slaughtered but I came late so i only get to watch Pak Hasni slaughter the cow.. subhanallah.. it is surely not an easy task.. the truth is, i think it has been ages since the last time i watched Qurban.. but this year someone encouraged me to join in the 'ibadah.. not by words, but by actions ^__^ thank you soOo much! yes, watching qurban is a sunnah, right? and i'm so happy i managed to watch and help around with the potong daging n masak-masak etc this year.. and never to forget my hobby, i even cut my nails (only one finger actually) when i was cutting the meat.. alhamdulillah my finger didn't bleed huhu.. urmm.. my mind was actually so...

The Law of The Garbage Truck...

Image
THE LAW OF THE GARBAGE TRUCK... Beware of Garbage Trucks by David J. Pollay How often do you let other people's nonsense change your mood? Do you let a bad driver, rude waiter, curt boss, or an insensitive employee ruin your day? Unless you're the Terminator, for an instant you're probably set back on your heels. However, the mark of a successful person is how quickly he/she can get back her focus on what's important. Sixteen years ago I learned this lesson. I learned it in the back of a New York City taxi cab. Here's what happened. I hopped in a taxi, and we took off for Grand Central Station. We were driving in the right lane when, all of a sudden, a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his breaks, skidded, and missed the other car's back end by just inches! The driver of the other car, the guy who almost caused a big accident, whipped his head around and he started yelling bad words at us. My taxi driver just...

Quizilla Join Make A Quiz More Quizzes Grab Code cuba la bagi pigeon ke.. yg chumeyl2 sket arr huhu o_O" ade ke crow pnye personality mcm ni?? intelligent----~~??? (i never know crows are intelligent) huhu... FYI, i used to hate crows like anything coz they seem to be so ugly n dirty n disgusting... ye lah, all crows in the South East Asia like to mess with the rubbish bin and dumping places and those kind of stuff... anyways, actually for the past month i've been thinking A LOT about this very true attitude of mine --- "poking my beak into places it doesn't belong" ... since I've started walking on the path of life 'with the end in my mind' , i've received comments about myself, directly and indirectly. basically, those sentences and expressions can all be concluded simply into one statement: "Please mind your own business, because I can lead a merrier life without your interference...

Hmm... Kuatkan diri-diri kami... Agar kami dapat terus melangkah ke hadapan... dan terus hidup ... hanya untukMu ... hanya keranaMu ... ya Allah ... semoga diberi berpeluang bertemu lagi... Ramadhan yang penuh barakah... I ask myself tonight!

I ask myself tonight! By Sound Vision Staff Writer "Oh how swiftly, it's mid-Ramadan now I sit here, wondering and thinking how, Have I spent my first days of Ramadan fruitfully? Or have I wasted the time unknowingly?" [...] Ramadhan comes, for a short month it's here Will I ever meet the Ramadan next year? Allah Oh Allah, help me guide my heart through For only You know, if I've devoted enough to You." -excerpts of the poem "Not done enough this Ramadan" by Udiana Jamalludin Ramadan, as usual, has flown by. Despite planning beforehand, many of us may have gotten caught up in a routine after accustoming ourselves to the change in schedule the blessed month brings. This may have affected our initial plans to increase our worship, contemplation and to seek Allah's Forgiveness and Mercy with greater fervor. But the last ten days and nights of Ramadan are still ahead for us to benefit from. Ask yourself these questions and see what you can do to m...
