langkah pejuang

Allahumma solli 'ala Muhammad wa 'ala aalih wa sahbih..

frankly speaking, the 'brain-washing' didn't turn up very well.. sampailah Teacher Azrinah mengajar Islamic Studies (one of the very few subjects I scored for my IGCSE).. I started to like the seerah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wasallam)..

ye lah, obviously, coz the seerah was really interesting (i'm not fond of the world history though).. tapi personally masih tak dapat nak 'link'-kan diri sendiri as an individual who have never seen Rasulullah to love him and follow him.. i bought and read thick books on seerah merely because of the keen interest i have, but suddenly, and fortunately - in a blink - a 'connector' appears.

it is the stories of his Companions who were always beside him, loving him and supporting his holy mission.. only then i could imagine how his Sahabah really loved and respected Rasulullah, and really sacrifice their life and wealth for the sake of Allah..

later along this path of life, i was introduced and taught about other pejuang-pejuang Islam. some of the very known figures: Hasan al-Banna, Syed Qutb, al-Mawdudi and so on.. they loved and admired the Prophet and try to follow his sunnah.. they lived and preach the same message that has been brought by Prophet Muhammad and also other Prophets before him..

but how in the world, living in different age/era, these pejuang-pejuang Islam boleh memperjuangkan sesuatu yang sama.. even today, isn't it beautiful, knowing that our brothers living across the surface of this globe - in Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei and even U.K. and Middle East and etc - all bring the same message based on a similar method.. isn't it beautiful?? subhanallah..

Here the role of the Sahabah & Tabiin comes in, and of course other scholars.. i think , if it's not because of their effort and sacrifice, Islam brought by our Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) would have not reach us today..

one very important thing i learnt - THEY DON'T 'LIVE AND WORK' ALONE. Semua bergerak di dalam kumpulan yang kuat dan kukuh, sabar, tabah & gigih memperjuangkan Islam.. So where are we today??? Don't we want to be a part of them?

hehe.. sebenarnya terfikir nak tulis entry macam ni, sbb haritu present pasal Umar Abdul Aziz masa usrah ^__^ one of the greatest Khalifah / Ameerul-Mu'mineen.. semakin tinggi kedudukan dia dalam dunia Islam, semakin dia berusaha untuk mendekatkan diri dengan Allah untuk dapatkan redhaNya.. bukannya lalai dengan kedudukan, taraf, nama yang dia dapat..

lagi satu yg sgt hebat tentang Umar Abdul Aziz.. dia langsung tak sentuh duit rakyat atau duit kerajaan.. malah dia jugak berjaya pulangkan harta-harta yang bukan hak milik keluarga dia to their rightful owners.. even harta-harta yg diambil saudara-mara dia before he became the Khalifah pun dipulangkan semula..

hmm.. jom muhasabah balik.. did we take any part that doesn't belong to us while doing da'wah.. or fund-raising.. or even bila buat business..?? we should try out best to be fair, and never ever take what belongs to others..

ya Allah...
please keep us away from the Hellfire..
dan juga jangan biarkan kami jadi orang yang 'berhutang' di akhirat kelak..
dan janganlah palingkan hati-hati kami setelah Engkau beri hidayah kepada kami..

Allahumma solli wa sallim wa barik 'ala Muhammad..

hari bersejarah 12 Rabi'ul Awwal ^__^ 1429
**sangat jarang dapat tulis macam ni**

..the so called pejuang u mentioned has been refuted by scholars. and they are not the figures we want to look up to. because of them we have confused jihadist bringing Islam down. go to www.spubs.com
