The Panel:

Dr Daud Abdullah
A senior researcher at the Palestinian Return Centre (PRC) and an author of his latest book titled Right of Return, Dr. Abdullah is a respected specialist in human rights. He works in London is a member of the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB). He is a frequent speaker on Islamic issues in the U.K. at both union meetings and community events.
Dr. Abdullah will present a speech entitled Understanding the Conflict, bringing to light the history of Palestine, and the reason behind the Israeli occupation.


Matthias Chang
Matthias Chang was the political secretary for Chinese affairs of former Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. Chang has written a book titled Future Fastforward and also numerous other books.

Prof Ataullah Bogden Kopansky
Prof. A. B. Kopansky, a Polish origin, is a Professor of History at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He has taught at the universities of Texas, Iowa, Damascus, International Islamic University in Pakistan and in South Africa and Sri Lanka.

With a forum style, Chang and Prof. Kopansky will be talking about how the Zionist movement is affecting not just Palestinians and Muslims, but also people of other faiths, in the third segment–The Zionist Agenda.

Ustaz Maszlee Malik
A lecturer at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Ustaz Maszlee Malik is also a writer for many Malaysian magazines such as Majalah I and Millenia Muslim, Remaja I and Perspektif. He also has few books published, among them: Biografi Syeikh Ahmad Yassin, Persoalan Asas Isu Palestin, Aspek-aspek KeIslaman Isu Palestin, Road to Beirut and also his thesis entitled, Hukum Talfiq Di Dalam Muamalat.
Ustaz Maszlee Malik will be the moderator for the forum: Helping the Palestinians: The Malaysian Challenge.
The panellists for this forum will be representatives from the Student Representative Council (SRC) of selected universities.
