Taking a new step

Alhamdulillah, I'm now into week 3 as a masters student, majoring in Education - Curriculum & Instruction. The past 2 weeks has been quite hectic and demanded me to run back n forth from my school and the university. Lectures are all 3 to 4 hours, and many times would trigger a migraine. I don't know if it's the sitting down for long hours, or dehydration (although i dranked quite a bit throughout the lectures) or the lighting of classrooms / lecture theatre or simply the idea of thinking & focusing to much... Uhhh... I just hope there's a way out of this. It's going to be at least another 3-4 years, so I really need to figure this out... I'm quite tired of taking supplements but yes inshaAllah i will try my best to take them regularly... Anyways, Alhamdulillah i've got the chance to chill out my my hubby & kids the other day. A couple of days at the beach n a very decent hotel, alhamdulillah. Hope to do that again soon :D ...

My Little Hero

Image
About a month ago, Irfan was admitted into the hospital because of pneumonia - pneumococcal bacteria to be exact. It was a 7 day experience for me and my little hero. Alhamdulillah he recovered. After 2 weeks, he's coughing again with phlegm and flue. And now he's getting fever-ish again. Allahumma rabbi yassir wa la tu'assir. You are indeed The One who give us health, please grant my little boy 'Irfan a healthy life... Day-1 Day-3 Day-5 Day-6

Three years

Three years in Adni... Now I start to cry when friends are leaving... Good friends who have held me up when I stand and when I fall...

Subhanallah walhamdulillah wallahuakbar! Alhamdulillah He has granted me the chance to visit Masjidil Haram and Masjid AnNabawi. Subhanallah, this is indeed one of the greatest experience I've ever encountered, with so much feelings mixed up and at the same time challenging my physical body. But Allah knows best, and He is the best planner. The tears of joy, excitement, reflection upon myself and the sadness of leaving behind these blessed places --- is truly overwhelming. Headaches come and go, I had to take panadols and migraine meds, and its really disappointing at saddening. It really seems like my body is not fit to continuously move around... Nevertheless, du'aa is the key, and I ask from Allah - the Only One who can grant me strength. Kids are at home. They had fever for a few days since before I left, and I can only make du'aa for them. I believe Allah is teaching me to let go and focus on my 'ibadah to Him, and not this dunya. Al-maalu wal-banuuna ziinat...
